Jon Barocas is the founder and CEO of bieMEDIA. Mr. Barocas has a long history and substantial experience in the technology, broadcast and film industry including working as a writer, producer and director. In 1986, he established Bark at the Moon Productions, Inc. as an independent film and video production company and founded bieMEDIA in 2005. bieMEDIA currently has offices in New York, Paris and corporate headquarters in Denver, Colorado.

beMEDIA has forged strategic new media partnerships for video content, mobile image recognition, technology platforms, SEO, VSEO and content distribution. Mr. Barocas attended the University of Colorado School of Communications and has served the community on several boards including Colorado’s Ocean Journey, the Colorado Art Institute and Graland Country Day School. In addition to being CEO of bieMEDIA, Mr. Barocas served as the head Men’s Lacrosse coach at Denver East High School from 1978 until his retirement in 2011. He is a 2011 Colorado Lacrosse Hall of Fame inductee and 2007 East High School Hall of Fame inductee.

Mike Osborne is the Chief Operating Officer and has a long history in technology operations. He brings a wealth of knowledge and over 20 years of experience in technology management experience from his professional positions and educational background.

Prior to joining bieMEDIA Mr. Osborne was the Founder of OmniWerks Consulting Services, focused on developing operational excellence at technology & communications companies, held several global operations roles in telecommunications and hospitality, lead the development and deployment of competitive cable systems, as well as leadership positions in product development and management.

Rhonda Canino is the Executive Vice President of business development for bieMEDIA and brings more than 20 years of experience in the newspaper and digital-media industry to the company.

Prior to joining bieMEDIA, Ms. Canino served as director of business development for the recruitment division of Media News Group Interactive where she helped facilitate the development and evolution of Yahoo! / HotJobs partnership while overseeing the migration of more than 50 newspapers to the Yahoo / HotJobs platform. Ms. Canino’s experience before Media News Group Interactive includes director of recruitment advertising for the Denver Newspaper Agency and for the Denver Post.

Scott Weigel is the Senior Vice President of Business Development for bieMEDIA. He has over 10 years of experience with online marketing, product management, and strategic development.

Prior to joining bieMEDIA, Mr. Weigel served as the Vice President of Online for Nolo, a full-service consumer legal portal, where he ran the company’s lawyer directory and direct sales divisions. He received his Bachelor of Science from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
